Loton Park Tennis Club is an 8 court venue located on the corner of Lord and Bulwer Streets in East Perth (see the map below).
The club has been around for many years, and in 1995 changed its constitution to be inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (glbt) people.
The club is not exclusively glbt – they just don’t ask! But they expect people to be relaxed and accepting of diversity – not a bad idea for society in general, actually.
The club boasts 6 well maintained grass courts and 2 flood-lit hard courts, with the grass court season typically taking place between October and June – the exact dates depend on the weather and the state of the courts..
In the down season, while the grass courts are closed for maintenance, play continues on the hard courts (weather permitting).
Loton Park is also affiliated with TennisWest, so they participate in a variety of TennisWest Tennis League competitions.
