Roller Derby

Dread Pirate Rollers

We are a mixed gender amateur roller derby league based in Kwinana, Western Australia. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive league and believe roller derby can be an empowering sport for all skaters, regardless of experience or skill level. We train hard but always have time for a laugh and a chat. We are not just a roller derby league, we are a family. We love our sport, we love our community, and we want to share it with you!

Sessions:

We run training sessions at the Zone Youth Space, Kwinana on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. We understand with work, family and life attending two sessions every week can sometimes be a bit of a stretch. You can attend either or both sessions - whatever fits your lifestyle and derby goals. As a bout-cleared player, minimum attendance at DPR is 60% to make the team.

How it works:

Your first session is free! If you'd like to proceed, insurance and membership ($60) fees are paid once a year; this will cover you for injury and give you access to our Facebook members group. We then have two options for paying training fees, a quarterly dues system or a pay as you go option.
