Membership
Team Perth Incorporated is the central hub and Peak Body for LGBTQIA+ sport and recreation in Western Australia. As a not-for-profit organisation based in Perth, our mission is to foster inclusion, participation, and community through sport and recreation.
We proudly support a growing network of LGBTQIA+ sporting clubs, recreational groups, and community organisations, working together to make sport safer, more inclusive, and more welcoming for all.
Tiers of Membership
Members (Voting Members)
Who can apply:

LGBTQIA+ Sports Clubs (Incorporated or Unincorporated)

LGBTQIA+ Community Groups

LGBTQIA+ Social or Recreational Groups
Their members are able to access individual memberships free (as part of the above) and access the discounts and offers we create though our Associate Members, Partners and Sponsors. Only the main club body is able to vote in the AGM (their board/committee or primary organiser) however the individual members do not. ​
Criteria:

Sports Clubs, Community, Social or Recreation groups who have evolved their club and policies to be more inclusive.

Must participate in inclusive sport and/or recreation

Must create a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ people

Must not be a business, sole trader, or for-profit enterprise
Approval Process:

All member applications are reviewed and approved by the Team Perth Board

Approved Member organisations receive voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Associate Members (Non-Voting Members)
Who can apply:
-
LGBTQIA+ Sport-Related Businesses (e.g., gyms, fitness, yoga, coaching)

Community organisations aligned with LGBTQIA+ inclusion

Businesses who would like to support the LGBTQIA+ Sporting Community and offer discounts to our members

Sport bodies or associations wanting to engage with and support the LGBTQIA+ sports community

Larger businesses and corporates showing allyship
Criteria:

The organisation/company should demonstrate a commitment to creating safe and inclusive environments for LGBTQIA+ people

Applications are assessed by the Team Perth Board based on alignment with our values and direction
