About the event
To celebrate Perth PrideFest 2026, we are kicking off the month with Team Perth's favourite event... Faction Carnival! We're proudly celebrating the 5th year of this fun-filled community tradition for the Perth LGBTIQ+ friends and ally community. The Faction Carnival is open to anyone who wants to participate—or come along to cheer on their mates!
We have a strict participation limit this year of 150, so get your tickets fast!
Held at UWA Sports Park, McGillivray Oval, Mt Claremont – the historic home of the Perth Gay Olympics 1979–1990 (10 McGillivray Rd, Mount Claremont WA 6010, Australia) – on Saturday 14th November 2026.
Meeting at 11:00am in your factions. Official kick-off at 11:30am with the opening of the carnival & then games begin. Event concludes at 3:00pm.
So what’s in store for the day?
You’ll get to play some of your childhood favourites—leader ball, tunnel ball, plus classic running and relay races.
